👉Durga Puja is an important festival . It is celebrated all over India But , in a few states , it is celebrated with great enthusiasm . It is the main festival of West Bengal . It is celebrated in the month of Ashwin from first to the tenth day of the bright fortnight . On this occasion schools , colleges and government offices are closed for a long holiday The puja celebrated in the month of Ashwin is called Shardiya Navratra . It is celebrated in the month of Chaitra also . The puja celebrated in Chaitra is known as Basanti Navratra . But , it is not so famous as Shardiya Navratra . The Durga Puja is celebrated for ten days . In fact , from first day to nineth day slokas ( Mantras ) are chanted in the glory of goddess Durga . People read and remember the power of goddess Durga . The tenth day is the day of Purnahuti . On this occasion , the image of Durga is installed . It is installed on the seventh day . During the last three days , the puja is celebrated with great enthusiasm . The images are designed variously . They are dressed in fine clothes . Goddess Durga has ten arms in which she holds weapons of different types During the puja . Prasad is distributed to the people . People gather around the Puja- Asthal to have a glance of Devi Durga . They give donation with love and honour . The Vijya Dashmi is celebrated as the victory of goodness over evils . Ramlila is staged at some places . Ravan is killed by Ram . It is the symbol of victory over evils . It is said that Ram killed Ravan on Dushmi . So it is celebrated as Vijya Dashmi . Ram worshipped Devi Duraga before killing Ravan . Since then the Durga Puja has been celebrated on this day . The another story shows that goddess Durga killed Mahishasur , a demon on this day . Any way , the Durga Puja is a holy festival . It is celebrated in the honour of goddess Durga . It is a symbol of victory of goodness over evils . It is celebrated with great enthusiasm . People put on new dress and enjoy the festival . It is enjoyed by the people of all age - groups . Specially the joys of children know no bounds .

                    दुर्गा पूजा

👉दुर्गा पूजा एक महत्वपूर्ण त्योहार है। यह पूरे भारत में मनाया जाता है, लेकिन कुछ राज्यों में इसे बड़े उत्साह के साथ मनाया जाता है। यह पश्चिम बंगाल का प्रमुख त्योहार है। यह आश्विन मास में शुक्ल पक्ष की पहली से दसवीं तिथि तक मनाया जाता है। इस अवसर पर स्कूल, कॉलेज और सरकारी कार्यालय लंबी छुट्टी के लिए बंद रहते हैं अश्विन के महीने में मनाई जाने वाली पूजा को शारदीय नवरात्र कहा जाता है। यह चैत्र मास में भी मनाया जाता है। चैत्र में मनाई जाने वाली पूजा को बसंती नवरात्र के नाम से जाना जाता है। लेकिन, यह शारदीय नवरात्र के रूप में इतना प्रसिद्ध नहीं है। दुर्गा पूजा दस दिनों तक मनाई जाती है। वास्तव में, पहले दिन से नौवें दिन तक देवी दुर्गा की महिमा में मंत्रों का जाप किया जाता है। लोग देवी दुर्गा की शक्ति को पढ़ते और याद करते हैं। दसवां दिन पूर्णाहुति का दिन है। इस अवसर पर दुर्गा की प्रतिमा स्थापित की जाती है। इसे सातवें दिन स्थापित किया जाता है। पिछले तीन दिनों के दौरान, पूजा बहुत उत्साह के साथ मनाई जाती है। छवियों को विभिन्न प्रकार से डिज़ाइन किया गया है। उन्हें अच्छे कपड़े पहनाए जाते हैं। पूजा के दौरान देवी दुर्गा की दस भुजाएँ होती हैं जिनमें वे विभिन्न प्रकार के हथियार रखती हैं। लोगों को प्रसाद बांटा गया। देवी दुर्गा की एक झलक पाने के लिए लोग पूजा-अस्थल के आसपास इकट्ठा होते हैं। वे प्यार और सम्मान के साथ दान देते हैं। विजय दशमी को बुराई पर अच्छाई की जीत के रूप में मनाया जाता है। कुछ स्थानों पर रामलीला का मंचन किया जाता है। राम द्वारा रावण का वध किया जाता है। यह बुराई पर विजय का प्रतीक है। कहा जाता है कि दशमी के दिन राम ने रावण का वध किया था। इसलिए इसे विजयादशमी के रूप में मनाया जाता है। रावण को मारने से पहले राम ने देवी दुर्गा की पूजा की थी। तभी से इस दिन दुर्गा पूजा मनाई जाती है। एक अन्य कहानी से पता चलता है कि देवी दुर्गा ने इसी दिन एक राक्षस महिषासुर का वध किया था। वैसे भी दुर्गा पूजा एक पवित्र त्योहार है। यह देवी दुर्गा के सम्मान में मनाया जाता है। यह बुराई पर अच्छाई की जीत का प्रतीक है। इसे बड़े उत्साह के साथ मनाया जाता है। लोग नए कपड़े पहनते हैं और त्योहार का आनंद लेते हैं। इसका आनंद सभी आयु वर्ग के लोग लेते हैं। खासकर बच्चों की खुशी का कोई ठिकाना नहीं होता।
