 जिस दिन से दोगे साथ मेरा तुम, 

उस दिन से हर पसंद पूरी होगी।

 जिस दिन से बिन कहे समझोगे तुम,

 उस दिन से कोई आस न अधूरी होगी।

 जिस दिन से रूठोगी मगर सिर्फ़ प्यार से,

 उस दिन से रिश्तो में जरा भी न दूरी होगी।

 जिस दिन से सच्चा दोस्त मानोगे मुझे तुम,

 उस दिन से अपने बीच कोई न मजबूरी होगी।

 जिस दिन से उठायेंगे जिम्मा इक-दूसरे का,

 उस दिन से किसी तीसरे की न मज़दूरी होगी।

 जिस दिन से पायेंगे इक-दूसरे में इत्मिनान दोनों,

 उस दिन से रिश्तों की महक फिर कस्तूरी होगी।

 पर जाने कब मुकम्मल होगा उस दिन का इंतज़ार, 

एक तरफा इश्क़ आख़िर कब तक रहेगा यूँ बेक़रार ।।

from that day every wish will be fulfilled.

From the day you will understand without being told,

 from that day no hope will be unfulfilled.

From the day you get angry but only with love,

from that day there will be no distance in the relationship.

From the day you will consider me as a true friend, 

from that day there will be no compulsion between you.

From the day we will take care of each other,

 from that day there will be no wages for any third person.

From the day both will find peace in each other,

from that day the fragrance of the relationship will again be musk.

But don't know when the wait for that day will end,

how long will one sided love remain restless like this.
